Shock compression target numbers - Woods thru SX                                                     vdb / excel / fkc_target_nu_4CS_bv_mv_reb.xls Woods at lower end.  MX around aver.  SX at upper end. Pressure testing allows us to break down the fork forces into: comp force, cadj force, drag force and gas force. HOWEVER, for shc target nu series, we only list oall comp force.  The cadj force is based on keeping P.r about 10% above P.ca at 50ips (via Susanto excel). The 1st range is from 2016 WP 50 piston with 4.01 reb bleed area. The 2nd range is from KYB 46 piston with 6.63 reb bleed area. The 3d range is from Showa 50 piston with 3.35 and 4.95 reb bleed area. Use the three charts to get a snapshot of how steep the damping curve is.
