| Summary
On the previous pages there were many references to the force-velocity curve from the dyno.  But, not everyone has a dyno.  Does this make this information useless to all but those with dynos?  Quite simply, the answer is NO, this info can be used by all.
The dyno is needed to quantify the valving changes and determine what areas of the damping curve they affect.  Once enough information has been gathered, it will become apparent that specific shim changes affect specific areas of the curve.  After these generalizations have been made, a dyno is not specifically needed for tuners to make fairly accurate valving changes that target specific areas of the damping curve. End of Valving 101 Series   - Valving 201 will deal with pressure.
Internal pressure from both the main piston and compression adjuster piston. Pressure drops.Pressure balancing.etc.
